The core of Christmas is giving.
As a parent, the giving part of Christmas takes on a larger meaning. There is no greater feeling than creating an experience for your kids that includes the excitement of them opening presents.
It is core to who we are as human beings to make the lives around us better. When we all participate we all benefit and society grows.
One of my resolutions for the new year is to take that spirit of giving that I have with my family and apply it to others in my everyday life.
