Do What Works

A failure is not always a mistake, it may simply be the best one can do under the circumstances. The real mistake is to stop trying.
B. F. Skinner

Your practice is what you do on a daily basis.

Figure out what your practice is and then practice doing your practice.

By viewing it as a practice, there is not the expectation of doing it perfectly, you are just practicing to get better at it.

If your practice includes running on a treadmill then as a practice it is only important to try. If the first few practices all you do is get your shoes on, then they are good practices. Eventually, because you are practicing, you will get better.

If you are practicing a new sport, there is no expectation to be great at first. The fulfillment is in the trying and the improving.

Find a practice that works and continuously refine it
