My Daily Thoughts

Create a sustainable practice

Start by doing what's necessary; then do what's possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible.
Francis of Assisi

What you do on a daily basis is your practice.

I use the term practice because it means that you are constantly trying to improve what you are doing on a daily basis.

The first phase of getting better revolves around creating the process of tracking and doing things (processes) on a daily basis. This process is different for everyone. What works for one person won’t work for someone else.

Finding what works for you so that you are consistently doing a set of tasks every day.

The next phase is increasing how efficiently you do those tasks so that you can add more tasks or get more accomplished with the tasks you have.

It is similar to a diet. You can’t diet for a while and then be done, it is a lifelong commitment.

It is the same with your practice. Find what works and then get into the groove of constant improvement.

Live the Adventure
