Consistency

Most people overestimate what they can do in one year and underestimate what they can do in ten years.
Bill Gates

When you think of what you could accomplish over the span of the next four years it seems as if there is lots of time.

The difference between accomplishing something in 4 years and accomplishing something in 1 year is whether you apply yourself weekly or monthly.

If you are doing something weekly you will accomplish what someone else who is doing it monthly for four years in one year.

That is the power of consistency. Figure out that time you have available and consistently use that time to work towards your goal.

If you consistently work weekly you will accomplish what a person who works monthly in one year instead of four.

If you work monthly you will accomplish what a person who works yearly for ten years in one year. This time frame applies to activities like goal setting, and personal reflection.

The idea is to determine what consistent schedule you can follow and then follow. The results, in the end, will seem amazing to others because they will view them from how long it would take them to achieve it.

Be consistent, your future self will thank you.
