My Daily Thoughts

What do you remember from 20 years ago?

By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest.

Twenty years ago was just after the turn of the century.

Do you have experience and wisdom from back then that you apply today? Most people, remember very little from twenty years ago.

It is that experience and that wisdom that is becoming more and more important in today’s world. The mundane, repetitive jobs are being replaced with automation leaving the creative and innovative jobs.

Those who remember and can apply their experience and wisdom will excel.

That is the importance of creating your personal book of knowledge (PBOK). When you can read your experience in your words you and use that experience to innovate in the present.

Start documenting your experience and your wisdom today, you will need it tomorrow.
