The Path Not Taken

Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.
Helen Keller

I read an article about Warren Buffet’s son that resonated with my current journey.

Warren Buffett’s son ‘doesn’t regret’ spending $90,000 of Berkshire stock he got at 19 (cnbc.com)

I am taking that path now.  I never got an inheritance, but I built up money in my company so at 55 I could take a year to learn about entrepreneurship.  It has been an exciting journey and the opportunities for creativity and growth keep me on that journey.  I wish I had the courage to take the journey earlier, but everything happens for a reason.

As a parent, if there are ways I can teach my children how to get on that journey early I take those opportunities.

As I have said in other posts, a key skill/habit is learning how to create and publish content on a consistent basis.  For my kids, this will be like a savings plan.  Creating their platform and building an audience will be as valuable as saving 10% of whatever they make.

Live the Adventure
