Reduce Friction

Some people mistake grit for sheer persistence - charging up the same hill again and again. But that's not quite what I mean by the word 'grit.' You want to minimize friction and find the most effective, most efficient way forward. You might actually have more grit if you treat your energy as a precious commodity.
Reid Hoffman

We all have within us the seeds of greatness.

We need to create an environment for those seeds to grow. The environment that will allow those seeds to grow is one where you are free to exercise your talents.

Those things in your life that slow you down, and get in the way are the weeds of the environment. Removing those weeds creates the conditions for you to flourish.

Keep a list of anything that slows you down, that annoys you, that takes away from living in a state of flow. Constantly try and find ways and solutions that reduce the friction of those items.

These can be little things such as having a dish or a hanger for your keys so there is never the friction of finding your keys.

These can be big things such as hiring a cleaner to keep your house clean.

The less friction, the more you can move towards the life you are designing.
