Make Decisions In Advance

Never cut a tree down in the wintertime. Never make a negative decision in the low time. Never make your most important decisions when you are in your worst moods. Wait. Be patient. The storm will pass. The spring will come.

Today was an embarrassing day. While walking the dog this morning a slipped on the ice and fell and hit my head.

Luckily for me, I have awesome neighbors who came and helped.

The decision that was hard to make was whether to have the ambulance come and take me to emergency to get checked out. My normal reaction to getting hurt is to just lay down and try to forget about it. I almost didn’t go to emergency. It was Bob Saget who recently passed away from a head injury that made me go.

In the end, everything was fine.

But it reminded me that I am not in the right frame of mind to make decisions when certain events happen. I need to make these decisions ahead of time so I make the right decisions when the event happens.
