In the business sector, business architecture is a discipline[] that “represents holistic, multidimensional business views of: capabilities, end‐to‐end value delivery, information, and organizational structure; and the relationships among these business views and strategies, products, policies, initiatives, and stakeholders.”
Business architecture practices were created so that a business can understand what it is made up of and how it can best use that makeup to achieve the business vision.
I believe that the same approach should be taken for your life. You first need to understand the different parts that make up your life and then determine how you will use the different parts to achieve the vision you have for your life.
Business is complicated but is much simper than a life. A business is focused on making money, a life has many focuses that all have to be balanced. If a business needs to take the time and effort to create and manage a business architecture, then it far more important for individuals.
My contribution to this life design architecture is the JournaledLife framework. The JournaledLife framework allows you to take an inventory of your life to gain an awareness of what your life is currently made up as. From there you can create a path forward to maximize the creation of your life vision.
