Focus

Achievement of your happiness is the only moral purpose of your life, and that happiness, not pain or mindless self-indulgence, is the proof of your moral integrity, since it is the proof and the result of your loyalty to the achievement of your values.
Ayn Rand

In terms of being productive, there is lots of advice on focusing on doing a few things really well. The more you can focus on a few core priorities the better.

To have a focused life where productivity is just another word for personal growth, focusing on a few core priorities should be just as important.

If you had to reduce your life priorities to one thing, what would that one thing be?

For me it is exploration. Whether exploring new ideas or exploring new hiking areas, the act of exploration and the resulting discovery is a key part of my life.

Knowing this priority, I can approach many situations from this perspective thereby growing by that perspective. Someone who valued creativity would approach a similar situation somewhat differently and therefore grow differently.
