Your Movie Character

The first word in the phrase, “personal brand” is “personal.” Now add an “ity” to it, drop the “brand” and that’s what it really means. That’s the secret.
Adam Ritchie

A personal brand is about clarity of who you are.

Think of a character in a book or a movie. A great movie has deep characters with well-defined traits.

A good movie is built from deep characters. A great movie cannot have mediocre characters. What is your character for your movie?

Who you are
What you do
Why you do it

The clearer you are for these questions, the deeper your brand “character” will be.

In the terms of your work, who shows up?

Process of creating personal clarity
Self-reflection
Organize your thoughts
Create an overarching theme or story to tie the thoughts together

The more you carry out your practice, the more clarity you will get on who you are in that practice. Keep doing and keep reflecting and refining your personal brand.
