For every activity you engage in, take the time to figure out what the one focus is.
If there is more than one focus, split the activity into multiple activities.
When each activity has one focus, you have a method of measuring the effectiveness of the activity in terms of how well the focus is accomplished.
If the focus of an activity is enjoyment, then that is the measure.
If the focus of an activity is creating an outcome, the measure is the quality of the outcome.
Having a single focus allows feedback loops to be created that allow the activity to become constantly better.
These small improvements in increasing the focus mean the quality of the outcome increases over time. Over a long enough period of time, these become very significant.
