My view is that your life purpose is how you best use your uniqueness to create value in the world.
Based on your DNA there is essentially zero chance that there is anyone with the same DNA as you. Within that uniqueness is your purpose. What is it that you can do that no one else can?
To find your purpose ask yourself two questions.
- What are you good at?
- What do you enjoy doing?
Within those two questions lies your purpose.
The deeper you answer those questions the closer you will get to your purpose. Keep asking yourself the two questions. Most likely the first surface answer is only starting to get at your purpose. Your purpose is not the specific activity but the essence of that activity. If you enjoy photography, it i not the act of photography you enjoy. It could be the pursuit of finding the picture, it could be the composing the picture, it could be the story or the essence you are capturing. And then, at that level, there will still be a deeper level.
Keep exploring what you are good at and what you enjoy until you find the true essence of your purpose.
