Untangle Processes

Instead of embedding outdated processes in silicon and software, we should obliterate them and start over.
Michael Hammer

When processes are tangled, complicated tools are required to handle the processes. The tool needs to cover the whole process.

When you untangle the processes, it becomes simpler to apply a tool to the process. When tools talk to each other, the combination of tools handle very complicated processes.

When the processes are untangled it is easy to switch one tool for another.

Keep processes simple and create the complexity with how multiple simple tools work together.
