I am just returning from a week of camping in Dinosaur Provincial Park in Alberta, Canada.
One revelation that really strikes me is that dinosaurs were on the earth for about 174 million years.
The Mesopotamian Civilization is the oldest civilization which was about 5500 years ago. That means that dinosaurs were on earth about 30,000 times longer than we have been.
What will the earth be like when humans have been on earth for 174 million years, or can we even last that long.
