Ideas take up space in our heads and there is finite space to be used.

Ideas that we stress over take up more room which leaves even less room for new ideas.

The solution to free up our minds is to journal to get things out of our heads and onto paper.

For stressful ideas, getting them written down is very freeing. Oftentimes, once the stressful idea is written down it loses its power and is no longer as stressful.

For other ideas, getting them written down frees up our minds to be more creative.

Our mind wants ideas, and wants to be creative with those ideas. As we free up our mind by writing ideas down, our mind creates new ideas.

Our ideas are either in our heads or on paper. I prefer paper so that my mind can do what it does best, be creative, and think.
