In any project open and honest communication is important.
When all involved stakeholders know and understand all aspects of a project everyone can be aligned in creating the best outcome.
There may be resistors and differing opinions on a project. It is best to deal with these stakeholders directly and come to a common understanding.
A culture with secrets will result in gossip. Gossip will result in false information. False information will sidetrack a project.
