Everything comes down to what we experience. Within that experience is how we interpret and therefore feel about the experience.
We have the ability to both choose our experiences as well as how we interpret those experiences.
There is a simple formula for being happy
1. What do you want to feel to be happy.
2. Choose experiences that create those feelings
While this is a simple formula it is difficult to put into practice. To execute this formula you need to be able to interpret experiences in a way that generates the feelings you want. This involves both our wisdom about the world we live in and inner wisdom about how we process experiences.
Happiness is there for continuous interaction between living and introspection – action and reflection.
