Finding clarity in who we are and what we want to do with our lives takes courage.
We can ponder what the best path is, but until we experience the path we will never know.
In order to experience a path, we need to give up other paths. This is where the courage comes in. It takes courage to take a path that results in giving up other paths. There are so many “what ifs?” that we need to get over.
If I focus on this topic I have to give up these other topics.
If I take on this project I won’t have time for these other projects.
If I read this book, I have to put this other book on hold.
We only have a certain amount of time, but that time is always better spent going down a path rather than flip-flopping between paths.
