Creating new outcomes in life takes work. If we focus on the outcomes it is sometimes overwhelming. Focusing on the outcomes means we don’t get satisfaction until we have reached the outcome.
Focus on the path, on the journey that you take to the outcome. Gain satisfaction and fulfillment simply by knowing you are taking the steps on a path.
A hockey player focuses on playing the system during a shift with the underlying belief that by following the system, the outcomes will result.
Figure out a practice that if followed will create the outcomes you desire. Then practice that practice. Keep practicing until you become great at the steps of the practice. The outcomes will appear on their own.
