Do you have a clear mission or life plan that you are executing?
Without a plan, you are just living by random chance.
One common trap people fall into is believing the plan and the outcome the plan is creating is the same thing.
You need to be clear of the outcome you are striving to achieve. The more clarity in your goals and vision, the better chance you have of reaching them.
Your plan on the other hand is just your current best guess at how to achieve your vision and goals. As soon as you start executing your plan it is conceivable that it will not work. Without a plan, you never know what is working and what is not working.
The process of executing your plan is:
1. Execute the next step
2. Evaluate where you are in relation to your goals
3. Alter your plan to realign with your goals and vision
As you can see your plan is constantly changing but your goals and vision remain constant.
Think of the game of guessing a number from one to a hundred.
Your plan to pick a number in the middle. After picking the number, you are either low or high or you reached your goal (guessed the number). Once you have executed the first step in your plan, you have more information to create a better plan. Each time you get closer and closer to your goal.
