Consumers are bottom-up, they are simply looking to have their immediate issue or need to be solved. They do not need nor want to understand the big picture or how it all fits together.
If we consider a car, creators understand the specifications, and how well built the vehicle is. The consumer just wants a vehicle that fits them to get them from a to b.
