This may not be a popular opinion, but I find too many people these days using the Analysis Paralysis concept as an excuse not to think.
We are in too much of a rush to get going without the proper preparation.
Unfortunately, with this approach, there are going to be people that get lucky and have things work out. The majority of the time if a decision is made without doing the thinking work, a poor decision is going to result.
It is like playing poker. If you just rush into a hand without thinking much, once in a while you will get lucky. It is going to be the person who thinks out each hand that is going to be successful long term.
I think when people try to use the analysis paralysis concept they should think of the measure twice cut once concept instead.
