Starting April 10th I am going to execute a 30-day experiment on meditation. I have a muse meditation band that measures my brainwaves as I meditate. I fully admit that I have not used it yet this year, hence this experiment.
Starting next quarter, April 1st, I will meditate each day, gather the metrics from the muse band, and rate myself on the following 5 items.
- Happiness
- Fulfillment
- Focus
- Drive
- Productivity
I will do my best to forget the measures from the day before. In 30 days I will compile the metrics to see the results. My thesis is the measures should rise over 30 days.
I will also add any insights I have along the way. I will post a follow-up article on May 1st, 2021 to see the outcome of the experiment.
