You have a limited amount of energy for creating your life. There are activities you can do to increase your energy, but those tasks take effort. Planning your life by understanding how you spend your energy is key to getting the most out of life.
Not everyone will spend the same amount of energy on a task. Take the task of reading a book. For some, the way to read the book by expending the least amount of energy is to do it in one sitting. For others, it will be reading for 30 minutes a day, any more than that and you are fighting against yourself.
Think of your energy as currency. How much of your energy currency are you going to pay to do a task?
There is always a way of completing your tasks using less energy. This is a never-ending cycle of improvement. By completing your tasks with less energy leaves energy for other tasks which means you are accomplishing more.
Think of a car – if you have a Lamborghini there is the ideal road for the car to be on.
