You and you alone are responsible for your life.
Life is unfair, you will have bad luck, and bad things will happen to you. You cannot escape this, nor do you have control over this.
That is where responsibility comes in. If you take full responsibility for your life then you will deal with whatever comes your way. It is just part of the experience of being alive.
This is where the idea of “Everything is Your Fault” comes from. If you have the mindset that everything is your fault, that puts you in the position to do what it takes to fix it.
If you think it is the fault of others, then you are giving up control. You are letting outside events control what you do. You put yourself in a mindset where you have no control.
Taking responsibility for everything in your life creates freedom. It frees you from outside influences and puts you in control.
A kayaker doesn’t blame the rapids in a river. A kayaker believes they are in control and they paddle the kayak to get the outcome they are looking for.
